Horst Dohm ice rink
The Horst-Dohm-Eisstadion (formerly: Eisstadion Wilmersdorf ) is an ice rink open every six months in the winter season by the architect Werner Deyle in the Berlin district of Schmargendorf in the Charlottenburg-Wilmersdorf district . It has a - now closed - restaurant, a snack stand and an ice skate rental with an attached grinding shop. In winter it is open as an ice skating stadium, in summer it is used for training for roller sports ( inline skating and roller skating ).
The ice rink was opened on November 29, 1974. It offers a 6170 m² ice rink and a 400 m long speed skating rink , which meets the requirements for the Olympic Games .
The first speed skating World Cup race in Germany took place here in 1985 .
In October 2000, the ice rink was named after Horst Dohm , the former Wilmersdorf district mayor from 1981 to 1996.

The ice rink is located at Fritz-Wildung-Straße 9 (previously: Lochowdamm ). It is located in the immediate vicinity of the Wilmersdorf summer pool and the Wilmersdorf stadium .
