Horst-Emil Ellinghaus

Horst-Emil Ellinghaus (born October 30, 1948 in Wuppertal ) is a German baker and politician ( CDU ). From June 8, 2005 to June 8, 2010 he was a member of the state parliament of North Rhine-Westphalia.

Life

Ellinghaus graduated from secondary school in 1966 and then trained as a baker until 1968. This was followed by a visit to the technical school for the bakery and confectionery trade in Olpe , which he finished in 1973 with the master's examination. Since 1978 he has been working as an independent master baker. Since 1999 he has been the head master of the bakers' guild in Wuppertal.

politics

Ellinghaus has been a member of the CDU since 1973. From 1973 to 1978 he was local chairman of the Junge Union in Wuppertal- Ronsdorf and from 1979 to 1983 district chairman of the Junge Union in Wuppertal. From 1984 to 1994 he was a member of the Wuppertal- Heckinghausen district council . He has been a member of the Wuppertal City Council since 1999, where he is, among other things, Deputy Chairman of the Sports Committee. Ellinghaus was elected to the state parliament of North Rhine-Westphalia on June 8, 2005 ( state constituency Wuppertal I ), where he was a full member of the main committee, the legal committee and the committee for schools and further education. In 2010 he left the state parliament.
