Horst Schröder Cup

The Horst Schröder Pokal was a tennis tournament held from 1998 to 2015 in Kaltenkirchen , Schleswig-Holstein , Germany .

The tournament was held on the facilities of the TC an der Schirnau eV and the Kaltenkirchener Turnerschaft eV. The Horst Schröder Cup lasted four tournament days and was part of the HEAD German Masters Series. The tournament was endowed with prize money of 10,000 euros. For the first time in 2011, the tournament received the "Best National Tournament" award from the HEAD German Masters Series committee.

The Horst Schröder Cup was carried out by a 70-strong volunteer organization and helper team. A shuttle service was available to the players during the cup.

Since parts of the tennis department in the Kaltenkirchener Turnerschaft were needed from November 2015 to accommodate refugees, the tournament was no longer held. Instead, the ITF Future North 2016 will be held in 2016 on the TC system on the Schirnau .

The TC an der Schirnau eV has eight outdoor courts (sand) and four indoor courts (carpet). There is a restaurant in the clubhouse.
