Horst Berning

Horst Berning (born January 22, 1924 ; † 2000 ) was a German football player .

Career

Berning played for Arminia Bielefeld since the early 1940s, including in the Gauliga Westfalen . With the Arminia he rose in 1949 in the then first-class Oberliga West and in the following season again. For Bielefeld, he completed 27 league games and scored nine goals. He stayed with Arminia until 1952 and scored 13 goals in 24 games in Division II . He then left Bielefeld with an unknown destination.
