Horst Brunner (philologist)
Horst Brunner (born November 2, 1940 in Braunschweig ) is a German old Germanist .
Life
He studied German, musicology and Latin philology in Erlangen and Zurich . After graduating as Dr. phil. in Erlangen 1966 and habilitation in 1971 at the University of Erlangen, he was Professor of German Philology at the University of Würzburg from 1981 to 2006 .
