Horst Neisser

Horst F. Neißer (born July 30, 1943 in Nuremberg ) is a German writer , publisher , librarian , psychotherapist .

Life

After studying empirical cultural studies , psychology and German studies, Neißer received his doctorate in 1974 at the Eberhard-Karls-Universität Tübingen with a dissertation on the subject of "Advertising: an analysis of its motives and possible effects" .

Neißer worked in the library sector since 1973 . Until 1976 he worked as a lecturer for the purchasing center for public libraries (today ekz.bibliotheksservice ) in Reutlingen , headed the Saarbrücken city library from 1978 and the Cologne city library from 1986 to 2007 . From 1999 to 2002 he was President of the German Society for Information Science and Information Practice . In 2006 he founded the German-Slovak Circel publishing house.

Horst Neißer is the author of non-fiction, short stories, fantasy novels and thrillers. He lives in Schwabach (Germany) and Voderady (Slovakia).
