Horst Rademacher (politician)

Horst Rademacher (* May 27, 1923 - November 17, 1990 ) was a German economic and social politician ( SED ). He was head of the State Office and State Secretary for Labor and Wages in the GDR.

Life

In the 1950s, Rademacher was an employee, main speaker, department and sector manager in the Economic Council and the State Planning Commission . Then he was department head in the State Office for Labor and Wages and from August 1967 to August 1972, as successor to Hellmuth Geyer, head of the State Office for Labor and Wages at the Council of Ministers of the GDR and from August 1972 State Secretary for Labor and Wages. In April 1977 he was replaced as State Secretary by Wolfgang Beyreuther and was then First Deputy State Secretary for Labor and Wages until 1987.

From 1968 to 1982 Rademacher was a member of the federal board of the FDGB .
