Horst shield
Horst Schild (born April 4, 1942 in Hanover ) is a German politician.
Life
Horst Schild completed an apprenticeship as a technical draftsman and graduated as a mechanical engineer. He also studied mechanical engineering and political science. Until 1994 Schild was an academic councilor at the University of Hanover . He has been a member of the SPD since 1961 and was a member of the German Bundestag for three electoral terms from November 10, 1994 to October 31, 2005 . He was elected to the Bundestag in 1994 via the SPD state list, in the Bundestag elections in 1998 and 2002 he won the Hanover-Land II constituency directly. His successor as a member of parliament was the lawyer Matthias Miersch in 2005 .
Schild is married and lives in Barsinghausen .
