Hoshizaki Denki

Hoshizaki Denki KK ( Japanese ホ シ ザ キ 電機 株式会社 , Hoshizaki denki kabushiki kaisha , English Hoshizaki Electric Co., Ltd. ) is a Japanese manufacturer based in Toyoake of ice makers and other kitchen appliances.

Shigetoshi Sakamoto founded the company in Nagoya in 1947 . The first ice maker was made in 1965. Hoshizaki Europe was founded in Amsterdam in September 1992 . The company has numerous branches on all continents.

In 2007 the parent company of the group had 1,301 employees and annual sales of 58 billion yen (around 348 million euros).
