The Hotel Lürzerhof is a four-star restaurant in Untertauern in the southeast of the Austrian state of Salzburg . The former inn is housed in a building that dates back to the 14th century. Today the business is run as a wellness hotel.

location

The hotel is located on the north side of the Radstadt Tauern Pass in the municipality of Untertauern at exactly 1000  m above sea level. A. and belongs to the Obertauern tourist region . The Radstädter Tauern Pass has always been an important north-south connection.

history

The Lürzerhof around 1925

The house is first recorded in the 14th century; At the beginning of the 20th century it was expanded into an inn. With the emerging ski tourism in Obertauern, the Lürzerhof has been expanded and modernized again and again. In 1998 the hotel was expanded to include an indoor swimming pool . In 2002 the building was demolished down to the ground floor and rebuilt. In 2008 the wellness area was added after a year of construction. The last renovation took place in 2011, with the hotel bar, a restaurant as well as the foyer and utility rooms being redesigned. The family business is legally organized as a GmbH .

Furnishing

The hotel offers 38 rooms and suites, several restaurant areas and a bar. The facilities also include two seminar rooms and an underground car park. The wellness area includes saunas and steam baths, a fitness room, an indoor pool and a heated outdoor pool.
