Hotel National (Bamberg)

The Hotel National is a listed hotel in the center of the Upper Franconian city ​​of Bamberg . It was built in 1886 according to plans by the architect Jakob Maier . When designing the facade, he made use of early baroque forms, following the taste of historicism .

The building is located in the city center on Luitpoldtstrasse between the train station and the pedestrian zone. The historicizing facade of the hotel adapts to the urban appearance of the city. Many prominent personalities have stayed at this hotel in the past.
