Hotel cooperation
Hotel cooperations are associations of privately run hotels , which, in contrast to the hotel chain, are not under one overall management. In most cases they are geared towards specific groups of tourism and are at best connected as an arge . They are legally independent, but cooperate economically with one another.
A hotel cooperation serves to develop expanded economic strength in the areas of sales (e.g. basis for negotiating company contracts), purchasing (special conditions with suppliers due to larger volumes) and advertising (greater reach). The hotel cooperation also serves to exchange experiences among hoteliers. The hotels retain their individuality, whereby an overarching corporate identity (such as a logo and name extension) should show the affiliation to the cooperation internally and externally.
