The RKW architects is an architectural firm in Dusseldorf .

Company history

RKW Architektur + is one of the largest German architecture firms that also operate internationally. There are currently around 400 employees from 25 nations - architects, interior designers, civil engineers and administrative specialists - working at the Düsseldorf headquarters and the locations in Leipzig , Münster and Munich .

Founded in 1950 by Helmut Rhode in Düsseldorf, the architectural community, now managed by eight shareholders, has many years of national and international experience in all areas of building construction, interior design and urban planning and offers private and public clients a comprehensive range of services in all classic service phases, including general planning and construction - and quality management, BIM planning as well as project development, moderation and consulting services.

RKW has received more than 100 prizes in national and international competitions, including more than 50 first prizes and numerous for exemplary buildings.

The office is u. a. Member of the German Sustainable Building Council , the Baukunstarchiv NRW, the Bundesstiftung Baukultur, the German Council of Shopping Centers, the Architecture Export Network and the national BIM Competence Center (BIM Germany).
