Houmed Mohamed Dini

Houmed Mohamed Dini (* 1953 in Obock ) is a politician from the Rassemblement Populaire pour le Progrès (RPP) from Djibouti .

Life

After attending school, Dini studied at the Université Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne and, after completing his studies, entered the financial administration, where he first became director of the excise tax office in 1985, then inspector of tax investigations in 1987 and inspector of financial administration in 1995.

On May 22, 2005, Prime Minister Dileita Mohamed Dileita appointed him Minister for Employment and National Solidarity (Ministre de l'Emploi et de la Solidarité nationale) in his cabinet, of which he was a member until March 27, 2008. On February 10, 2008, he was elected for the first time as a member of the National Assembly as a candidate for the Rassemblement Populaire pour le Progrès (RPR) . He was re-elected in the February 20, 2013 elections.

Two days later, Dini, who is married and has 13 children, was elected Secretary of the National Assembly Office on February 22, 2013. Since 2008 he has been a member of Parliament's Committee on Finance, Economics and Planning.
