Dileita Mohamed Dileita (born March 12, 1958 in Tadjoura ) is a politician and former Prime Minister of Djibouti . He took over the office on March 4, 2001 from Barkat Gourad Hamadou and was replaced on April 1, 2013 by Abdoulkader Kamil Mohamed .

Dileita belongs to the Rassemblement Populaire pour le Progrès (RPP) party and headed a coalition of his party with the former rebel group Front pour la Restauration de l'Unité et de la Démocratie (FRUD). He belongs to the Afar ethnic group . In the 1990s he represented his country as a diplomat, including as ambassador to Ethiopia .
