Howard F. Ott

Howard Frederick Ott (born May 17, 1914 in Marquette , Michigan , United States , † September 17, 2005 in Victor , United States) was an American technician, engineer and filmmaker.

Live and act

Howard F. Ott grew up in Connecticut and Ohio and studied physics at the Case School of Applied Sciences in Cleveland in the early / mid-1930s . He graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in February 1936, married the following year and found a job in the research laboratories of Kodak, New York. As a photography expert, Otts developments and inventions found their way into the Hollywood film industry in the following decades. 1974 Howard Ott, still representative of the Eastman Kodak Company , with a technical Oscar plaque excellent (Scientific and Engineering Academy Award) and indeed for the joint development of a liquid-gate system for motion picture printer.
