Howard George Tripp

Howard George Tripp (born July 3, 1927 in Croydon ) is a British Roman Catholic clergyman and auxiliary bishop emeritus in Southwark .

Life

Howard George Tripp received in the May 31, 1953 Southwark the sacrament of Holy Orders .

Pope John Paul II named him Auxiliary Bishop in Southwark and Titular Bishop of Newport on December 20, 1979 .

Archbishop of Southwark Michael George Bowen ordained him episcopal on January 30 of the next year ; Co- consecrators were Anthony Joseph Emery , Bishop of Portsmouth , and Charles Joseph Henderson , Bishop of Nuestra Señora de la Altagracia en Higüey .

On January 7, 2004, Pope John Paul II accepted his age-related resignation.
