The leaves are stalked, the petioles are 1.5 to 4 cm long. The leaf blades are narrow-elliptical, 7 to 21 cm long and 3.5 to 5 cm wide. The base is attenuat, the apex pointed. The midrib protrudes strongly on the upper and lower sides, the branching leaf veins are only indistinctly developed. The top is green, the bottom a little lighter.

The umbel-shaped flower stalk arises from the leaf axils and contains about 8 flowers. The inflorescence stalk is 3 to 4 cm long. The flower stalks are 2 to 3.5 cm long; they have purple or purple-brown spots in an irregular mosaic pattern on the surface. The sepals are egg-shaped and about 1 mm long. The apex is pointed, the outside shows purple or purple-brown spots. The star-shaped corolla is fleshy and 1.5 to 2.8 cm in diameter. It is green on the inside, greenish on the outside with purple spots. The petal lobes are ovate-triangular, about 7 mm long and about 5 mm wide at the base. The tips of the secondary crown are whitish and fleshy. The outer extension is rounded and the inner extension is pointed. The pollinia are elongated with a translucent edge. The caudiculae are short and thin. The corpusculum is rhombic and comparatively large. Fruits and seeds are not known. The plant bloomed on the natural site from July to September.
