Hu Limei ( Chinese  虎 里 美  /  湖 李梅 , Pinyin Hù Límeí ; born January 23, 1995 in Shanghai ) is a Chinese table tennis player .

Career

Hu Limei only made her breakthrough in 2013: In an internal qualifying tournament, she defeated reigning world champion Ding Ning and was thus able to qualify for the World Cup in Paris .

There she had to admit defeat in the round of 32 Ding Ning. Due to strong Chinese competition, she was rarely seen at major events, but won gold at the Qatar Open in 2014 and bronze at the German Open in 2016 .
