The municipality of Huangyan ( Chinese  黄岩 区 , Pinyin Huángyán Qū ) is a municipality in the prefecture-level city of Taizhou in the Zhejiang Province of the People's Republic of China . Huangyan has an area of ​​988 km² and a population of 570,000. The district is located on Yongning Jiang .

The district lives mainly from the injection molding shop , which earned it the nickname "Mold City". According to local information, up to 2000 injection molding companies are to be located here.
