Linhai
Linhai ( Chinese 臨海 市 / 临海 市 , Pinyin Lín Hǎi Shì - "directly on / sea / city") is an independent city in the coastal province of Zhejiang in the People's Republic of China on the Ling Jiang River . It has an area of 2203.13 km² and about 1.11 million inhabitants (as of 2004). Linhai belongs to the administrative area of the prefecture Taizhou City .
Administrative structure

- Youxi municipality (尤 溪镇),
- Greater community Hetou (河头镇)
- Greater community Yanjiang (沿江镇)
- Greater community Kuocang (括苍镇)
- Greater community Yongfeng (永丰镇)
- Greater community Huixi (汇溪镇)
- Greater community Baishuiyang (白水洋镇).
Demographics
In the census in 2000, Linhai counted 948,618 inhabitants. Of these, 99.74% were Han Chinese , 0.05% Miao , 0.03% Dong , 0.03% Bai , 0.03% Bouyei , 0.02% She , 0.02% Tujia , 0.01% Zhuang and 0.07% other ethnic group of China.
