Ling Jiang in Linhai

The Ling Jiang ( Chinese  灵 江  - "Spirit River") is a river in the east of the People's Republic of China .

It flows through the Zhejiang Province and flows into the East China Sea at Taizhou . the river is fed by the Xia'an Reservoir , located about 50 km northeast of Lishui , and is still called Yong'an Xi there. Only after the confluence with the Shifeng Xi does it receive the name under which it is best known. However, it is mostly referred to as Jiao Jiang at its mouth.

The river is particularly important for transportation. It is not particularly deep, but at its mouth in Taizhou it is about 3 km wide. Several shipyards have settled there.
