The Huawei Watch is with Android Wear running SmartWatch . It was presented on March 1, 2015 at the Mobile World Congress and was launched on September 2, 2015. It is the first smartwatch from Huawei .
hardware
The shape of the Huawei Watch is based on the round design of traditional watches. The AMOLED screen with a diagonal of 42 mm has a resolution of 400 × 400 pixels and thus a pixel density of 285.7 ppi . The case is made of 316L stainless steel and the front is covered with sapphire crystal glass.
The clock uses a 1.2 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor, has 512 MB of RAM and 4 GB of internal storage. It has a gyroscope, accelerometer , vibration motor and a heart rate monitor . It supports both Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 4.1 LE, but no GPS ; the connected smartphone is used for this . To charge the watch, place it on the supplied magnetic charging station.
software
The Huawei Watch runs with Android Wear and works with devices with iOS (8.2 and higher) or with Android (4.3 and higher). This operating system supports, among other things, the display of notifications, voice commands with Google Now and much more. Calls can also be made or received from the watch.
