Hubert Fichte Prize

The Hubert Fichte Prize of the Free and Hanseatic City of Hamburg is a literary prize that has been awarded every three years since 1995 and every four years since 2004 in memory of the Hamburg writer Hubert Fichte . If possible, the award winners should show a clear relationship to Hamburg in their work. The prize is endowed with 7,500 euros (as of 2016).

The Hubert Fichte Prize emerged in 1995 from the Alexander Zinn Prize for Literature .
