Tina Uebel

Tina Uebel (* 1969 in Hamburg ) is a German writer , freelance journalist and literary organizer .

Life

From 1993 to 2003 Uebel was the publisher of Edition 406, from 2000 to 2010 co-sponsor of the Hamburg literary association Power - Organized Literature . The Hamburg literary award for authors in 2003 went to Tina Uebel, among others, for the unpublished novel Lucky Luke no longer smokes . In 2010 she reported in a travel blog for the Goethe-Institut China about her trip from Hamburg to Shanghai . In it she describes her perception of the gradual changes in the landscapes, language areas and cultures between the two sister and port cities.

Tina Uebel received the Hubert Fichte Prize from the City of Hamburg in 2012 and has been a member of the Free Academy of the Arts in Hamburg since 2013 .
