Hubert-Peter Johann

Hubert-Peter Johann (* around 1933; † August 28, 2001 ) was a German engineer and environmental expert.

Life

Hubert-Peter Johann received his doctorate in 1965 at the RWTH Aachen for Doktoringenieur , 1979, he habilitated at the University of Wuppertal . In 1983 he was appointed adjunct professor. He has held teaching positions at RWTH Aachen University, the University of Duisburg and the Montanuniversität Leoben .

Johann was the environmental protection officer at Mannesmann AG for over 30 years . During this time he worked on a voluntary basis in numerous committees, for example in the Working Group for Environmental Issues , in the Standards Committee for Basics of Environmental Protection (NAGUS) and in the environmental committees of the Federation of German Industries (BDI). From 1996 to 1998 he was Chairman of the Air Pollution Control Commission .
