Hubert Dorigatti (* 1975 in Brunico / South Tyrol ) is an Italian Blues - guitarist .

Life

Dorigatti learned to play the trumpet at the Bruneck Music School . At the age of 16 he started playing the guitar. After graduating from high school, he began studying at the music conservatories in Vienna and Trento .

Since the 1990s, Dorigatti has mainly devoted himself to the blues . Since then he has appeared with various band formations, including Black Cat Blues Department , T.mo , Bayou Side and Hubert Dorigatti Trio . His music style is based on the guitarists Big Bill Broonzy , Robert Johnson and Lightnin 'Hopkins . In 2017 Dorigatti won the IBC Blues Challenge as the best Italian blues musician.
