Hubert Genz (born September 3, 1949 ) is a former German soccer player and coach.
Player career
From Germania Dörnigheim he switched to Kickers Offenbach in his youth . In the 1968/69 season, the former junior international Genz , who played as a striker , was in the first division squad of the previously promoted Bundesliga club Kickers Offenbach. During the season, however, he remained without use. After moving to FSV Frankfurt , with whom he won the German amateur football championship in 1972 , he played for two years for SSV Jahn Regensburg in the Regionalliga Süd. From 1975 to 1977 he was back on the team of FSV Frankfurt, which played in the second Bundesliga South. In the 1978/79 season he was in the ranks of FC Hanau 93. For Genz 83 appearances have been recorded in the 2nd Bundesliga, in which he scored a total of ten goals.
Coaching career
As a trainer, Genz worked at least in 1989 at FSV Frankfurt and from July 1, 1997 to September 12, 2001 at the Hessian club 1. FC Eschborn . He also coached VfR Kesselstadt at least in 2010 . He was also the trainer of KSV Klein-Karben .
