Hubert Hämmerle (* 23. June 1961 in Lustenau ) is an Austrian trade union functionary . Since 2006 he has been president of the Vorarlberg Chamber of Labor .

Life

After attending compulsory school, Hubert Hämmerle began an apprenticeship as a mechanic and toolmaker at the fittings manufacturer Julius Blum in Höchst . In August 1999 he became an assistant to Egon Blum , who was a member of the management team of Julius Blum GmbH until 2005 and from 2003 to 2008 he was government representative for youth employment and apprenticeship training under the federal government Schüssel II . Hämmerle was later one of three vacant works council members at Blum.

In 2004 he was Councilor in the Chamber of Labor Vorarlberg and Chairman of the Education Committee of Labor. In 2006 he was elected President of the Vorarlberg Chamber of Labor as the successor to Josef Fink as an ÖAAB candidate. After the Chamber of Labor election in January 2019, he was re-elected President in March 2019 by the General Assembly of the Vorarlberg Chamber of Labor with the votes of 57 of 70 Chamber Councilors (81.43 percent); Manuela Auer , Bernhard Heinzle and Jutta Gunz were again Vice-Presidents .

Hubert Hämmerle is married and has three children.
