Hubert Lobnig

Hubert Lobnig (* 1962 in Völkermarkt ) is an Austrian visual artist .

Live and act

Lobnig studied at the University of Applied Arts in Vienna . The focus of his artistic work is painting, drawing, video, photography as well as context and site-related projects and installations in public space, where he often works with Iris Andraschek . In 1997 he participated in the founding of "Tigerpark", a platform for artistic and curatorial projects. Lobnig lives and works in Vienna and Mödring . He is a member of the New Society for Fine Arts Berlin (NGBK) and the Vienna Secession .
