Hubert Mütherich

Hubert Mütherich (born November 12, 1912 in Lippstadt ; † September 9, 1941 near Krasnoje Selo ) was an officer in the German Air Force and fighter pilot in World War II .

Mütherich was the squadron captain of the 5th squadron of Jagdgeschwader 54 "Grünherz". He shot down 43 enemy planes and was awarded the Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross on August 6, 1941 .
