Hubert Maria Moran (born July 14, 1946 in Kadöll , Glanegg, Carinthia , Austria) is an Austrian writer and visual artist.

biography

From 1970 to 1980 he completed studies in sculpture and painting, among others with Moroder and Svoboda. He lives and works in the municipality of Glanegg in Carinthia.

Literary work

In his texts, the author processes everyday, seen, experienced. Sometimes documentary and socially critical, sometimes dreaming, satirical, romanticizing, ironic and letting the feelings run free, but always with love and spiritual peace in mind. His literary works are in a special measure carried out by humane aspects and peaceful being as well as by the light of life. He has published several books of poetry, prose, poetry, ballads and aphorisms.

The confrontation of literature and the visual arts with the complexity of the universe and the people is a need for him. Shaped by both worlds in which he feels at home, he permeates the blaze of color, shapes and poetry and makes them accessible in his own way, through texts and representations as a strong force of his sensual feeling. His poetry as well as his painting are to be seen as a festival of words and transcendental images, because he is a tireless man and constantly strives to vary with pictorial and spiritual means of expression.
