Hubert Wallner (moderator)

Hubert Wallner (* 1941 in Vienna ; † August 7, 2018 in Vienna) was an Austrian moderator . From 1971 to 1996 he presented various programs for ORF (Austrian Broadcasting) such as the " Austria Rally ", " Motorists on the move ", and the programs "Walk in", "Radio 4/4" and "Hello Neighbor " for the ORF regional studio in Lower Austria "and" Tournament on the Schallaburg ".

Life

Hubert Wallner was the first soprano with the Vienna Boys' Choir from 1951 to 1955 and then attended the hotel management school of the Chamber of Commerce for Vienna. After working in the tourism industry in Austria, France, Spain and Switzerland, Hubert Wallner was head of the information center of the ÖAMTC ( Austrian Automobile, Motorcycle and Touring Club ) from 1965 . From 1971 to 1996 he worked as a presenter and journalist for the ORF, from 1976 to 1996 as a division manager for family radio in the ORF regional studio in Lower Austria.

Hubert Wallner was married to Traude Wallner from 1966 and had two children.
