Hubertus Freiherr von Elverfeldt

Hubertus Freiherr von Elverfeldt (born March 8, 1902 in Breslau ; † November 18, 1977 ) was a German politician ( CDU ). From 1958 to 1970 he was a member of the state parliament of North Rhine-Westphalia .

Life

Hubertus Freiherr von Elverfeldt graduated from school with the primary school leaving certificate and completed training as a state-certified farmer. He then studied at the Technical University of Munich . Since his studies he was a member of the Catholic student union K.St.V. Rheno-Bavaria Munich . Von Elverfeldt then initially worked as an agricultural estate official in Silesia until he took over the management of his agricultural and forestry business in Canstein in the Brilon district in 1928 .

Von Elverfeldt joined the CDU in 1950. He became a member of the CDU district board of the Brilon district. Between 1956 and 1960 he was community and official representative for Canstein and Niedermarsberg , from 1956 to 1961 he was a district council member . Von Elverfeldt was elected to the North Rhine-Westphalian state parliament as a direct candidate for the CDU in constituency 131 (Brilon) in the state elections in 1958, 1962 and 1966. He was a Member of Parliament from July 21, 1958 to July 25, 1970.
