Hugo Øster Bendtsen
Hugo Øster Bendtsen (born May 25, 1948 in Nakskov , Denmark , † July 10, 1998 ) was a Danish actor .
Life
Bendtsen completed an acting training at the Statens Teaterskole in 1974 and then made his debut at the Folketeatret . He then worked at various experimental theaters in Copenhagen , including Cafe Teatret , Søllerød Scenen and Husets Teater , until he was permanently employed by Odense Teater in 1979 . From 1988 he worked as a freelance worker, but returned several times to the Odense Teater. In the theater he had his most famous appearance in the performance of The Missed Spring ( Det forsøgenöss forår ) based on a novel by Hans Scherfig , in the role of Mogensen. Bendtsen made his film debut in the role of rigger in 1976 in the Danish television film Sommeren 1807 and then continued to work, mostly in various supporting roles in several Danish film and television productions .
