Hugo Presch

Hugo Presch OCist (* 1865 in Wiener Neustadt ; † May 4, 1950 ) was an Austrian religious.

Hugo Presch joined the Heiligenkreuz Abbey in the Vienna Woods and was ordained a priest in 1888. From 1906 to 1909 he was pastor in Sittendorf and then pastor in St. Valentin-Landschach until 1917 . He then became a librarian, feast day preacher and teacher in the new monastery in Wiener Neustadt; he died senior and subprior.

Hugo Presch was invested in the Knightly Order of the Holy Sepulcher in Jerusalem in 1901 . From 1940 to 1950 he was acting grand prior of the Austrian Lieutenancy of the Order of the Knights of the Holy Sepulcher in Jerusalem. After his death in 1951 Prince Archbishop Andreas Rohracher followed .
