Huifa (ruined city)

The site of the ancient city Huifa ( Chinese  辉发城址 , Pinyin Huifa chéngzhǐ , English Huifa Ancient City ) is located on the Huifa Shan 辉发山 in the village Guanghui 光辉村 the greater community Huifacheng 辉发城镇 the circle Huinan 辉南县 the prefecture-level city of Tonghua in the south of the Chinese province of Jilin .

At the time of the Ming Dynasty , it was the capital of the Jurchen tribe of the Huifa ( 辉 发 部 ) of the Haixi-Nüzhen ( 海西 女真 ), who were spread along the Huifa River (Huifa He ).

It has been on the list of monuments of the People's Republic of China (6-61) since 2006 .
