Hulk Räckorz

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Hulk Räckorz is a German punk rock - label from Voerde . It was founded in 1990 by the band WIZO together with Andreas "Fratz" Thum, but meanwhile also publishes the German bands Molotow Soda , Use to Abuse , Swoons (1996–1998), Toxic Walls , Lost Lyrics , Outsiders Joy , Die Rock'n 'Roll Stormtroopers , The Savants , as well as Aurora from Hungary and the Troublemakers from Sweden. Hulk Räckorz also runs the fashion label SexyPunk.

The label became known to a wider public following the sale of a T-shirt that featured a crucified pig. Vicar General Wilhelm Gegenfurtner , who had already sued Walter Moers for the little asshole , reported the label in 1997; However, the court saw no violation of the blasphemy paragraph , as the representation was only made available to shop visitors. The T-shirt has been on sale since 1994 and came from the booklet by “UUAARRGH!” (WIZO). WIZO agreed to stop selling the pig merchandising T-shirt when the church was ready to put a plaque on the Jewish sow at Regensburg Cathedral with a notice about its historical background. Nothing happened. Such a notice board has actually existed since 2005, a long time after the legal dispute. Since the end of 2007 there are no more pig t-shirts in the webshop.
