Human & Experimental Toxicology , or Hum. Exp. Toxicol. , is a scientific journal published by SAGE-Verlag . The first issue appeared in January 1981, when the journal was still called Human Toxicology . The current name was adopted in January 1990. The magazine appears monthly. Articles are published that present experimental and clinical studies on functional, biochemical, and structural dysfunction. The focus here is on causes, antidotes and other therapies. The journal has close links with the French Toxicological Society.
