Humilis from Bisignano
Humilis von Bisignano , originally Lukas Antonius Pirozzo ; (Born August 26, 1582 in Bisignano , Italy; † November 26, 1637 ibid) was an Italian Franciscan and mystic. He is venerated as a saint in the Catholic Church .
Life
Humilis, whose real name was Lukas Antonius Pirozzo , entered the Franciscan order as a lay brother . He was beatified in 1892 . Pope John Paul II canonized Br. Humilis in 2002 . His feast day is November 26th .
