Bisignano is a town in the province of Cosenza in the Italian region of Calabria with 10,147 inhabitants (as of December 31, 2019).

Location and dates

Bisignano is 33 km north of Cosenza , near the A2 motorway . The place has a small airfield for general aviation . It is usually referred to as "Cosenza-Bisignano Airport".

The neighboring municipalities are Acri , Cerzeto , Lattarico , Luzzi , Mongrassano , San Marco Argentano , Santa Sofia d'Epiro , Tarsia and Torano Castello .
