Plataci (in Arbëresh , IPA : [ ar'bəreʃ ] : Pllatëni ) is an Italian municipality founded by Arbëresh ( IPA : [ar'bəreʃ] ) in the province of Cosenza in Calabria with 683 inhabitants (as of December 31, 2019).

Location and dates

The area of ​​the municipality is at an altitude of 930 m above sea level and covers an area of ​​52 km² . Plataci is about 94 km north of Cosenza . The neighboring municipalities are Albidona , Alessandria del Carretto , Cerchiara di Calabria , Trebisacce and Villapiana .
