Acri is a town in the province of Cosenza in the Italian region of Calabria with 19,949 inhabitants (as of December 31, 2019).

In Acri, the Capuchin Angelo is venerated by Acri . He was born there on October 19, 1669 and died in Acri on October 30, 1730. On October 15, 2017, he was canonized by Pope Francis .

Acri is the hometown of Angelo Siciliano, who became famous in the United States as Charles Atlas .
