Castrovillari ( Latin Castrum Villarum ) is an Italian city ​​in the province of Cosenza and belongs to the Calabria region with 21,619 inhabitants (as of December 31, 2019).

Location and dates

The community extends over an area of ​​130 km². Castrovillari is located on the eastern edge of the Pollino National Park , exactly between the Tyrrhenian Sea in the west and the Ionian Sea in the east.
