Firmo (in Arbëresh , IPA : [ar'bəreʃ] : Ferma ) is a southern Italian municipality in the province of Cosenza in Calabria with 1973 inhabitants (as of December 31, 2019) and is located 62 km north of Cosenza and about 8 km west of the A3 motorway . The neighboring municipalities are Altomonte , Lungro and Saracena .

According to the writer Antonio Scura, Firmo was founded by Arbëresh between 1476 and 1478 .
