Location and dates

Laino Castello is about 110 km north of Cosenza on the upper reaches of the Lao River . The neighboring communities are Aieta , Laino Borgo , Mormanno , Papasidero and Rotonda ( PZ ).

Attractions

In the place there are ruins of a castle and remains of the city wall. The parish church was built in the Middle Ages . Inside the parish church there is a baptismal font from the 16th century and a triptych . The church of S. Spirito was built in the baroque style in the baroque style.
