Corigliano-Rossano is an Italian municipality founded on March 31, 2018 from the two Calabrian cities of Corigliano Calabro and Rossano . With 77,096 inhabitants (as of December 31, 2019) it is the largest municipality in the province of Cosenza . After the referendum on October 22, 2017, in which 61.4 percent of the voters in Corigliano and 94.1 percent of the voters in Rossano voted for the merger, the Calabrian regional council decided on the merger on February 2, 2018.

It is the seat of the Archdiocese of Rossano-Cariati , is 356 square kilometers with a population density of 217 inhabitants per square kilometer and borders the municipalities of Acri , Calopezzati , Cassano allo Ionio , Cropalati , Crosia , Longobucco , Paludi , San Cosmo Albanese , San Demetrio Corone , San Giorgio Albanese , Spezzano Albanese , Tarsia and Terranova da Sibari .
