Falconara Albanese (in Arbëresh , IPA : [ ar'bəreʃ ] : Fallkunarë ) is a southern Italian municipality with 1,384 inhabitants (as of December 31, 2019) in the province of Cosenza in Calabria .

Location and dates

The area of ​​the municipality is at an altitude of 516 m above sea level and covers an area of ​​18 km² . Falconara Albanese is about 38 km west of Cosenza . The neighboring municipalities are Cerisano , Fiumefreddo Bruzio , Marano Principato and San Lucido .
