Papasidero is an Italian municipality with 665 inhabitants (as of December 31, 2019) in the province of Cosenza in Calabria .

The area of ​​the municipality is at an altitude of 208 m above sea level and covers an area of ​​54 km² . Papasidero is about 110 km northwest of Cosenza on the Lao River . The neighboring communities are Aieta , Laino Castello , Mormanno , Orsomarso , Praia a Mare and Santa Domenica Talao . The place had a stop on the Lagonegro – Spezzano Albanese railway .
