Francesco Oliva
Francesco Oliva (born January 14, 1951 in Papasidero , Province of Cosenza , Italy ) is Bishop of Locri-Gerace .
Life
Francesco Oliva received the sacrament of ordination for the diocese of Cassano all'Jonio on January 5, 1976 .
From 2008 to 2011 and again from 2012 he was Vicar General of the Bishop of Cassano all'Jonio. During the vacancy from March 2011 to February 2012, he was diocesan administrator of the diocese of Cassano all'Jonio.
On May 5, 2014, Pope Francis appointed him Bishop of Locri-Gerace. The bishop of Cassano all'Jonio , Nunzio Galantino , ordained him episcopal on July 20th of the same year. Co- consecrators were the Archbishop of Reggio Calabria-Bova , Giuseppe Fiorini Morosini OM , and the Archbishop of Cosenza-Bisignano , Salvatore Nunnari .
